As a small boy, Erich spent much time playing in the family vineyards. There he learned much about how nature grows, builds and evolves. The experience left a great impression on him, which eventually led him to train at the School of Winemaking in Krems, Austria and at the University of Agriculture in Vienna. In 2000, Erich took over the fourth generation family winery and developed it further by combining his deepened knowledge in wine making with the family's experience in vineyard cultivation.
